About the Casino

The Alpensia Resort is a ski resort and a tourist attraction,.and is located on the territory of the township of Daegwanyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang.

Alpensia has 6 slopes for skiing and snowboarding, with runs up to 1.4 km (0.87 mi) long, for beginners and advanced skiers, and an area reserved for snowboarders. The resort is open year-round.

The Alpensia Ski Jumping Stadium is located within the station and will be the location of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Alpensia Resort will be the focus of the outdoor sports of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
