Hotel Casino Carrasco was inaugurated in 1921 and is one of the most emblematic buildings in Montevideo. From its beginning it merged French and English traditions and was a social, culture and economic center full of splendor and distinction for many years.

It is located on a residential area called Carrasco, which was created, with a French style, as a natural spa for the economic upper class of the early 900s.
