About the Casino
The Lucky 7 Casino is an enterprise of the Tolowa Indians of the Smith River Rancheria. We are located on the majestic, redwood-studded coastline of the beautiful, wild and scenic Pacific Ocean, an area exclusively named "America's Wild Rivers Coast." When our Rancheria was established in 1906, we were the largest Rancheria in the State of California, consisting of 160 acres. During termination we lost all but a few acres of land, which consisted of an offshore rock, a cemetery, and a church. Today we have grown to over 500 acres of land in tribal ownership and over 1,200 tribal members.
The Lucky 7 Casino started out in a doublewide module trailer in 1996 with approximately 60 machines. In 2001 we opened a new facility, which now offers 311 slot machines, Blackjack, Bingo, the House of Howonquet restaurant and a Fuel Mart/Convenience store with off sale liquor.
