Belterra® is a classic but revolutionary casino resort situated on the scenic Ohio River near the Markland Dam in Switzerland County, Indiana. The property is located within easy driving distance of nearly 5 million people in a 100-mile radius. It is less than 45 minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio and approximately a 50 minute drive from Louisville, Kentucky.

The casino resort is a magnificent place that rolls elegance, luxury and fun into one. The $37 million expansion project in 2004 doubled the number of rooms and added meeting and conference space, enhancing Belterra‟s appeal as a destination casino resort and making it the largest casino resort hotel in Indiana.

With 38,000 square feet of casino space, 608 guestrooms and suites, 7 food venues, a shopping pavilion, a spa and salon, a 1,500-seat entertainment showroom, an 18-hole, Tom Fazio designed golf course and over 50,000 square feet of meeting and conference space and other amenities, Belterra is everything but ordinary.

The hotel and casino opened in October 2000, and its 18-hole championship golf course opened in July, 2001. In May 2004, Belterra completed its $37 million expansion.

The "Miss Belterra" riverboat casino is 100 feet wide by 370 feet long. The casino has 38,000 square feet of gaming space on two levels with high limit table games and slot areas on the entrance level.

At Belterra, you‟ll find over 1,500 of the newest slot and video poker machines, including two non-smoking slot areas. Slot machine denominations range from 1¢ to $100. In June, 2005 Belterra added a non-smoking Live Poker room featuring Texas Hold'em other poker games. The poker room has daily tournaments.
